İlker Çatak is a German writer and director. He won the Student Academy Award in Gold in 2015 with his graduation film Fidelity. His filmography includes works such as Once Upon a Time... Indianerland, I was, I am, I will be and The Teachers' Lounge which received numerous awards including an Academy Award nomination for Best International Film and established him as a versatile and innovative filmmaker.
