August MF SIP inflows at record 15,800 crore with 36 lakh new accounts

Mutual fund inflows in India reached a new all-time high in August, with monthly inflows through systematic investment plans (SIPs) surpassing Rs 15,800 crore ($2.2 billion). Nearly 36 lakh new SIP accounts were opened during the month, pushing the total number closer to the 7-crore mark.
