India to spend nearly Rs 143 lakh crore on infrastructure between FY24 and FY30: Crisil

India is set to spend Rs 143 lakh crore on infrastructure between 2024 and 2030, more than double the amount spent in the previous seven years, according to rating agency Crisil. Of this total, Rs 36.6 lakh crore will be allocated to green investments, a fivefold increase compared to the previous period. Crisil predicts that India's GDP will grow by an average of 6.7% through fiscal 2031, with per capita income rising from USD 2,500 to USD 4,500.
