IndiaTimes Thursday, 30 November 2023
Positive global factors like sliding US gilt yields and falling crude oil prices led to a global rally in stocks which also helped the Indian market. The sensex on Wednesday rallied 728 points to close at 66,902 points - an over two-month high as 26 of its 30 constituents gained. On Wednesday, the Nifty also closed above the 20,000-mark for the first time after more than two months. The index gained 207 points to close at 20,097. The day's rally added Rs 2.3 lakh crore to investors' wealth, with BSE's market capitalisation now at Rs 338.1 lakh crore ($4.05 trillion).
