Tata's UK electric car battery plant to be in Bridgwater

Tata Group announced a multibillion-pound investment in its new UK factory in Bridgwater, southwest England. The factory, Europe's largest battery-cell manufacturing site, powered by Tata Group's global battery business and state-of-the-art technology, aims to supercharge Britain's transition to electric mobility. Construction will take place in stages, with battery production starting in 2026.
