New Zealand has entered its second recession in 18 months, with the latest wave of GDP numbers confirming that the economy dropped in the fourth quarter of 2023. stats NZ, New Zealand's official statistics office, said on Thursday that the country's economy contracted by 0.1% in the quarter ending in December, and 0.7% per capita.
