Criminal charges against Cardi B dropped

IndiaTimes Friday, 4 August 2023
Cardi B will not face criminal charges after police dropped battery probe into an incident in which she threw her microphone at a member of her audience in Las Vegas when a concert-goer chucked a liquid at her. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed the investigation had been closed as there was insufficient evidence to file charges in relation to the case. Meanwhile, a microphone purported to be at the centre of the drama had reached $99,900 on eBay with proceeds to be split between two charities.
