The film has already raked in the highest grossing second weekend numbers for a Hindi film, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan. Gadar 2 has been running with houseful boards on single screens and has been creating history at the box office. The film, helmed by Anil Sharma, is a sequel to the hit film Gadar released in 2001 and follows Tara Singh's daring attempt to rescue his son during the partition of India in 1947.
