On the 71st birth anniversary of Rishi Kapoor, a throwback interview of the late actor surfaced where he praised his future daughter-in-law, Alia Bhatt. Rishi admired Alia for taking on challenging roles at a young age and carrying films on her shoulders. He mentioned that luck and talent both played a role in her success. Alia and Rishi had previously worked together in "Kapoor and Sons".
