Sanya's Jawan role inspired by THIS person?

Sanya Malhotra, the actress in the movie "Jawan", responded to questions about whether her role was inspired by the real-life Gorakhpur Hospital tragedy involving Dr Kafeel Khan. She said she doesn't know if it was inspired by someone and that she surrendered to the director's vision. Sanya found the hospital scene emotionally challenging and felt heavy for three days after shooting it.
