Probe launched in Russell assault allegations

British police have launched an investigation into allegations of non-recent sexual offenses following reports that four women have accused actor and comedian Russell Brand of sexual assaults. Brand has denied the allegations, and the police have not provided details of the incidents or offenses under investigation.
