Vishal reacts to steps taken by Ministry on CBFC

The Indian government has declared zero tolerance for corruption and will take strict action against those involved. A senior official from the Information & Broadcasting Ministry has been sent to Mumbai to investigate allegations of extortion in the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) made by South actor Vishal. Vishal, who exposed corruption in the censor board, is satisfied with the response and hopes for immediate action. The Ministry has requested cooperation from the public in reporting any other instances of harassment by CBFC.
