Talking about his journey in the film, Vicky had revealed at the teaser launch, “The journey of Sam... started with Raazi for me. We were shooting in Patiala and were holed up in a hotel when Meghna first mentioned that she is thinking of this film next. I had heard about him but didn’t know what he looked like. While talking to her, I discreetly Googled his image and I thought to myself, ‘he’s so handsome, I won’t get this role!’
