Popular South Korean actor Ji Chang-wook is in discussions to play the lead role in the upcoming thriller drama, ‘The Mantis’, a Korean remake of an original French drama. The series revolves around a woman imprisoned for being a serial killer, and the chaos that ensues when a copycat killer emerges. The drama is a joint production between Merry Christmas and MegaMonster, and Ji Chang-wook's potential casting comes on the heels of positive reviews for his performance in ‘Welcome to Samdal-ri'.
