Pahlaj: Tatkaal certification will curb bribes in CBFC

Former CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani supports tatkaal certification for films, suggesting it to curb bribery and delays. He proposed this concept during the Shyam Benegal committee discussions but it was not implemented. Nihalani believes that producers should pay a premium price for tatkaal certification if they submit their films late, preventing release postponements caused by certification delays.
