Flood-hit Assam gets Rs 61.4L from NDMA

The Centre has provided the flood-hit state of Assam with an assistance of Rs 61.4 lakh to help deal with the inundation that has ravaged the northeastern state. As of Sunday, parts of more than 29 of the 33 districts in the state were flooded, which has affected the lives of over 25.42 lakh people.
