Odisha train tragedy: ‘A few minutes under a pile of bodies seemed like hours’

Two days have passed since the horrific accident. But Jagannath Sahu, 39, is yet to come to terms with the few seconds that wrecked the lives of several hundred men, women and children travelling in the two passenger trains involved in the fatal collision. He, too, could have been one of the passengers killed in the tragedy but a potent mix of survival instinct and providence helped him emerge from the mangled mesh of steel and flesh on Friday evening.
