Monday, 19 June 2023 The Enforcement Directorate on Monday told the Supreme Court that Tamil NaduDMK minister V Senthil Balaji, arrested in connection with cash-for-jobs scam during his stint as transport minister in the previous AIADMK-led government, feigned illness upon arrest to get wheeled into a hospital to avoid interrogation and pleaded for exclusion of his hospitalisation days from the custody period.
