International Yoga Day: Why it is India's pride across the world
International Yoga Day is celebrated annually on June 21st. It was first proposed by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, during his address to the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. The proposal received unanimous support from the UN member states, and the International Day of Yoga was officially recognized on December 11, 2014.
