Tech boost to policing as facial recognition cameras keep track of criminals in Puri

In a first in Odisha, the Puri police have introduced a facial recognition technology to track the movement of habitual offenders. Based on the feedback and performance, the technology will be expanded to other cities, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, officers said.
