SC grants activist Teesta Setalvad 7-day interim protection from surrender
In a temporary relief for social activist Teesta Setalvad, the Supreme Court on Saturday granted her a week's protection from arrest during a late evening hearing.The hearing was warranted after a two-judge bench were split over the grant of relief to her in a case of alleged fabrication of evidence to frame innocent people in the 2002 post-Godhra riots cases.
