Citing suppression of assets & false affidavit, Madras high court nullifies election of AIADMK's lone MP O P Ravindranath

O P Ravindranath, the lone AIADMK member in the Lok Sabha and son of former chief minister O Panneerselvam, lost his post on Thursday when the Madras high court declared his election from Theni constituency null and void on grounds of failure to disclose assets and liabilities, false affidavit and improper acceptance of his nomination papers.
