Nitin Gadkari takes dig at ministerial aspirants

IndiaTimes Friday, 7 July 2023
Speaking at a programme organised by RSS-affiliated Vidyapeeth Shikshan Manch in Nagpur, Nitin Gadkari said in jest that many had got suits stitched to attend their swearing-in ceremony, but did not know what to do with it now. "That place is now crowded (with ministerial aspirants). I had said to MLC Ramdas Ambatkar that we can accommodate as many persons as possible in this hall having a capacity of 2,000-plus, but we cannot increase the size of the cabinet," he said.
