India, France seal deal on making 3 Scorpene submarines

India’s oldest strategic partnership got even more expansive on Friday, with the inking of an MoU to build three more Scorpene submarines at the Mumbai-based Mazagon Docks as well as the co-development of cutting-edge military technologies like advanced fighter jet engines with France.
