West Bengal local body polls: Trinamool, Left-Congress bloc gain as BJP vote share slides in south Bengal's agrarian, tribal belts

The BJP has shed votes significantly in south Bengal's agrarian belt and tribal districts and the gainers have been Trinamool Congress and the Congress-Left-ISF bloc, an analysis of zilla parishad vote distribution shows. Trinamool Congress won all the 20 zilla parishads.
