NHRC seeks action on men eating woman's body part in Odisha

The Commission passed this direction on July 20 after hearing a petition filed by human rights activist and lawyer Radhakanta Tripathy. The petitioner said the two accused- Sundar Mohan Singh, 58, and Narendra Singh, 25, of Dantuni village under Badasahi police station- reportedly ate the flesh of a deceased woman Madhusmita Singh, 25, at the cremation ground near Bandhasahi village under Badasahi police limits in the district.
