Will cross LoC to safeguard India’s interests: Defence minister Rajnath Singh

India will not hesitate to cross the Line of Control to safeguard its own interests, defence minister Rajnath Singh warned Pakistan on Wednesday, adding that earlier governments had lacked the political will to do so, while speaking at the Kargil Vijay Diwas at Drass in Ladakh. In New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the Kargil Vijay Diwas brings to the fore “the heroic saga of those wonderful brave-hearts of India, who will always remain an inspiration for the countrymen”.
