BJP worker tries to kill self during FB live over rape allegations

Veer Singh, district convenor, BJP Kisan Morcha in Moradabad, hit the headlines after he was thrashed recently by locals at a temple and subsequently booked on rape charges by a woman. On Saturday night, he took to Facebook Live and consumed poison, saying he "couldn't face his 15-year-old daughter after the accusation".
