Tongue twist: English medium zips past Gujarati with 23% more schools

In the battle between Gujarati medium and English medium schools in the state, the latter seems to be winning with a convincing margin and the success has been as easy as ABC. According to the education department data, from 2019 to 2022, against 224 applications seeking permission to open new Gujarati medium schools, there were 276 applications or 23% higher requests for English medium schools.
