IIT Kanpur team to use GPR tech for Gyanvapi survey

A team of experts from Indian Institute of Kanpur (IIT-K), assisting the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) in the survey of Gyanvapi mosque compound in Varanasi, will use the ground penetrating radar (GPR) technology for its scientific examination. Professor Javed N Malik, the head of the Earth Sciences department at IIT-K is leading the IIT-K team.
