Wednesday, 9 August 2023 The complaint against Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha witnessed a fresh development on Wednesday with Upper House chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar referring the complaints of at least four MPs against him to the Committee of Privileges. During debate on the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023, Chadha included the names of several MPs in a proposal to form a select committee of the House for the bill without their consent.
Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha was today suspended from the Rajya Sabha for "breach of privilege" after complaints from four MPs alleging he named them in a house panel without their consent in violation of rules.
