Six dead in rain-related incidents across Uttarakhand; schools in 5 dists to remain shut

Heavy showers continued to wreak havoc across the state on Wednesday. A total of six persons died in rain-related incidents in Rudraprayag, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Uttarkashi and Udham Singh Nagar districts since Tuesday night. Due to heavy rain alert on Thursday, schools were announced to be closed in five districts - Bageshwar, Nainital, Pauri, Champawat and Chamoli.
