Despite bail, Chinese man caught ‘spying’ still in UP jail

A 26-year-old Chinese man, arrested at the Indo-Nepal border in UP’s Lakhimpur Kheri district by Sashastra Seema Bal on February 17, 2023, and accused of spying after entering the country without a visa, has been in jail for weeks despite getting bail from a local court on July 24, reports Kanwardeep Singh. All because there’s no one in India who will stand guarantor for him.
