3,000 will be arrested in next 10 days for child marriage: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

Sarma said he was waiting for the culmination of the G20 summit to start the second round of crackdown. "Just six months ago, 5,000 people were arrested for child marriages in Assam. It (crackdown) was kept on hold till the completion of the G20 summit. In the next 10 days, another 2,000 to 3,000 men will be arrested."
