Student in Lucknow shot dead by Insta 'friend' she met 10 days ago

A 23-year-old student was allegedly shot dead by an acquaintance she met on Instagram in Lucknow. The suspect, a property dealer with a criminal background, has been arrested. The victim, a B Com (Honours) student, had recently connected with the accused on Instagram. The incident occurred at a house party where several students were present. Police have recovered liquor bottles from the flat. The suspect and his friend took the victim to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead.
