Lalbaugcha Raja receives cash donations over Rs 5 crore

The Lalbaugcha Raja mandal in Mumbai has raised Rs 80.7 lakh through auctions of donations, including 3.5 kg of gold and 64 kg of silver, from devotees seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha. The 90-year-old mandal has also received cash donations exceeding Rs 5 crore. The funds will be used for philanthropic and social work. Due to the pandemic, the mandal did not host Ganeshotsav in 2020 and 2021, but instead focused on blood donation drives and supporting Covid warriors and martyrs' families.
