Special train departs from Bihar's Buxar with 1,006 passengers after North-East Express derailment

A special train carrying 1006 passengers departs from Buxar, Bihar, following the derailment of the Anand Vihar-Kamakhya North-East Express. The incident occurred near Raghunathpur station in the Danapur division. Two trains have been cancelled due to the derailment. The unfortunate incident resulted in four deaths and around 70 injuries. The cause of the incident is under investigation. Evacuation and rescue operations have been successfully completed, and efforts are underway to restore rail operations. Injured passengers are receiving treatment at AIIMS Patna, and their condition is stable.
