Seven booked for assaulting techie, friend in Pune restaurant

Seven men, including four cousins, have been booked by the Hinjewadi police in Pune for allegedly assaulting a 42-year-old techie and his friend inside a resto-bar. The incident occurred when the techie requested the staff not to allow children in the smoking zone. The techie filed a complaint with the police, stating that he was abused, threatened, and physically assaulted by the suspects. His friend also sustained head injuries. The suspects have been charged under various sections of the IPC, including endangering life and causing hurt.
