The J&K home department has set up a committee to identify foreigners illegally staying in the Union Territory since 2011. The committee will prepare a monthly report of missing foreigners in J&K and submit it to the Union home ministry. This move may impact over 350 women from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Pakistan who married Kashmiri militants and came to the Valley under a special package offered by the previous government.
