Will Tamil Nadu move SC to save 83 MBBS seats? CM M K Stalin to decide

IndiaTimes Sunday, 22 October 2023
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin will decide whether the state should approach the Supreme Court to address the issue of over 80 vacant MBBS seats in government and self-financing colleges. Health Minister Ma Subramanian stated that unless the Supreme Court grants permission for an additional round of counseling, these seats will remain vacant for the full course period. Subramanian will discuss the matter with Stalin and legal experts before making a decision. Last year, six MBBS seats in government medical colleges went to waste.
