Agniveer is a plan to insult heroes of India, says Rahul

With another Agniveer soldier dying in action, Congress on Monday said the short tenure army scheme is flawed and unjust to young armymen who are deployed in tough conditions without full training, and who don't get full facilities and benefits in service, and after death. Rahul Gandhi said, "The news of the martyrdom of Agniveer Gavate Akshay Laxman in Siachen is very sad. My deepest condolences to his family." He said such deployments should not happen to Agniveers as they are not well-trained soldiers.
