11-year-old wins 'best garba' prize, organisers bludgeon dad to death
An 11-year-old girl's father was beaten to death by six individuals, including the Navratri organizers, in Gujarat. The incident occurred after the girl's mother inquired about her daughter receiving only one prize instead of two. The organizers rudely dismissed her, resulting in an argument. Later, the attackers arrived at the victim's home and beat him before taking him to the garba venue where he was beaten again. The police have charged the organizers and their wives, with murder, kidnapping, and rioting.
