Students, residents to protest for closure of Tasmac shop near school in Chennai

Parents and students of a girls school in Chennai are protesting against a Tasmac shop located near the school. The shop is known for causing disturbances and harassment to the students. The school management had to close the back gate to ensure the safety of the students. Local residents and women's organizations are planning a protest for the removal of the shop. The authorities have stated that the shop will be shifted in the next month pending approval from the local police and tahsildar.
