Mahua Moitra seeks permission to cross-examine alleged 'bribe giver'

Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has shared a letter she wrote to the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee, ahead of her scheduled appearance to address cash-for-query allegations against her. In the letter, Moitra stated that she will refute the allegations and emphasized the need for law enforcement agencies to be involved in such cases. She also requested the opportunity to cross-examine the individuals who made the accusations. Moitra raised concerns about the committee's double standards, citing a different approach in another case involving a BJP MP.
