Kerala archdiocese chides PM Modi, BJP leaders on Manipur

The Catholic archdiocese of Thrissur, through its publication 'Catholica Sabha', has criticized BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and actor Suresh Gopi, for mishandling the ongoing agitation in Manipur. The article alleged that the PM remained silent while the state faced turmoil and only spoke up when a no-confidence motion was brought against him. The publication also took a dig at Gopi for his reported remarks dismissing the issues in Manipur. Gopi has recently faced controversy after being accused of behaving inappropriately with a female journalist.
