Railways races against time to complete redevelopment of station ahead of Ram temple inauguration

IndiaTimes Sunday, 5 November 2023
The Indian Railways is working to complete the redevelopment of Ayodhya railway station by January 15, before the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla at the Ram temple. The station's design is inspired by the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi temple and is expected to handle a daily footfall of around 50,000 people. Railway officials said PM Modi is likely to inaugurate the revamped station on January 22 when he participates in the "pran pratistha" of the Lord Ram in the temple and it's inauguration.
