Monday, 6 November 2023 Chhavindra Karma, son of late Congress leader Mahendra Karma, is contesting for the Dantewada assembly seat in Chhattisgarh. His mother, Devti Karma, stepped aside to support him in the election. The constituency, known for Maoist insurgency, has a history of violence and underdevelopment.
