Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will run govt from jail if arrested by ED: AAP

IndiaTimes Monday, 6 November 2023
Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj stated that if Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is arrested in the excise policy case, he will run the government from prison, with officers and cabinet ministers attending meetings in jail. Bharadwaj made this statement after a meeting of MLAs convened by Kejriwal in response to the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in an alleged liquor policy scam. The MLAs unanimously decided that Kejriwal, with the mandate of Delhi residents, will continue to govern from inside jail. The ministers also discussed seeking permission to hold cabinet meetings from jail.
