Our worth as a nation will largely depend on worth ascribed to women: CJI
Thursday, 9 November 2023 Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud emphasized the importance of women's status in determining the worth of a nation. He stated that ascribing worth to women is not just a women's issue but primarily a man's issue as well. The CJI also highlighted the need for forward-looking policies and judgments to ensure that social welfare measures benefit citizens. He called for the use of technology to facilitate legal awareness and ensure the delivery of justice to those seeking it.
