Denied Diwali bonus, dhaba workers strangle neta-owner

A dhaba owner in Nagpur was allegedly murdered by two of his workers after he refused to give them a Diwali bonus. The victim, Raju Dhengre, was strangled, stabbed, and bludgeoned to death. The assailants are currently at large. The police are investigating the murder from various angles, including a possible political rivalry. Dhengre's family has strong influence in the village, and he was politically connected and backed by the BJP. The assailants fled with Dhengre's car but got into an accident later.
